Introduction
IBO X1 ("we", "our", "the app") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information the application does and does not handle when you use it on your Samsung or LG Smart TV. IBO X1 is a media player only: it plays playlists that you add yourself and does not provide, host or broadcast any content.
Information we do not collect
We do not collect, store or sell personal profiles, viewing habits, or the contents of your playlists. Your M3U or Xtream playlist details remain on your device and are used only to play your own content.
Information used for activation
To activate the player we process the minimum technical identifiers required: your device ID and activation status. This is used solely to link your license to your device through our activation portal (euser.ibox1iptv.com).
No third-party data sharing
We do not share, sell or rent any user information to third parties. Payment for activation is handled through the payment channels you choose, and we never see or store card details.
Platform permissions
On Samsung Tizen and LG webOS the app requests only the permissions necessary for playback (network access and storage for app settings). No microphone, camera or location access is requested.
Content responsibility
IBO X1 does not include, provide or endorse any channels or streaming content. You are responsible for the playlists you add and must own the legal rights to the content you play. To report any copyright infringement or misuse, contact us at [email protected] or through in-app support — reports are handled and resolved at the root.
Children’s privacy
The app is not directed at children and includes a parental lock so adults can restrict categories behind a PIN. We do not knowingly process any information from children.
Security
Activation data is transmitted over encrypted connections and limited to what is strictly necessary to operate your license.
